Does it really? Everything else there is pretty awful. What do you think of their lobster roll? If you like it, I have to take your rec with a grain of salt

I won't be offended if you do.

I think their lobster roll is pretty good, but I think they put too much lemon in it, and I like some lettuce in my lobster roll. I think the steamers and fried clams are also pretty good. I stay away from the other stuff there, aside from the fried chicken (although I admit I eat a lot less fried chicken than seafood).

Lemon, and lettuce, in a lobster roll? FAIL

Central. Or Popeyes.

I second the rec for Popeyes.

Popeyes. Seriously. Let's not pretend that fried chicken is some upscale culinary invention. Besides Popeyes is where Tom Sietsma goes for a real meal when the restaurant he reviews serves inedible food.

I live near this place and have been meaning to try it, but never get around to it. They make breakfast sandwiches, and supposedly some darn good fried chicken. Read the Yelp reviews for helpful hints, though, such as you must pay in cash only. Also, I have no clue what their hours are -- they may only be open during breakfast and lunch time.

Hands down the best fried chicken is from the Cork Market on 14th Street NW (at S).

Anyone know of a great place to get fried chicken? Either a hole in the wall soul food place, a Georgia Browns type of place, ethnic, whatever... Just looking for some good crispy fried chicken!
