It's easy to clean, and if you're really worried, you could probably bake cookies on it with parchment paper. I've never done that, but I've heard it's a good option.
You're right about eggs though. That is the one and only thing I use nonstick for. If anyone knows of an alternative, I'd be happy to try it!
