My melasma has gotten better after both pregnancies. I am surprised someone said they did not think Cle de Peau is worth it, since everyone in my family (lots of women in my family) LOVE it since seeing me use it. It also wins "best of" awards every year.

Did your melasma go away post-pregnancy? Are you olive skinned? I've begun to notice it a bit and will definitely try the Cle de peau. Thanks.

I'm the poster who suggested Touche Eclat. While it technically is not a "concealer" - it really is the only thing that's helped diminish the dark circles. I do not have any wrinkles - just dark circles - so, my only goal is to "lighten up" rather than conceal any would-be wrinkles. In addition to the circles, I apply it below my top brown and in the inner corner of my eyes. Brightens the entire eye area.

I'd suggest going to a makeup counter and trying a few of these out. I tried a heavy concealer and found, like you, it brought out "wrinkles" and creases that weren't there without it!

Dermablend is the best concealer. I occasionally use it under my eyes. If you really blend it it isn't too heavy.

I found Cle de Peau to be a waste of money! If you would like to try something very close to Cle de Peau, however, try the stick concealer at Sally Beauty sold under the Femme Couture Flawless Touch Undereye Concealer name -- so much cheaper and so similar IMO.

I second Bobbi Brown creamy concealer (and the setting powder that comes in the pot) and Hard Candy from WalMart (comes in a tube). Hard Candy is a DEAL! And you only need a tiny amount.

I also like LORAC stick concealer and Amazing Cosmetics' line (found at Sephora). LORAC can be found at Ulta.

Cle de peau concealer. I had melasma during both pregnancies and used it all over my face. It is uber expensive but one tube can last a whole year and it is the best concealer by far I have ever used. If I had to choose only one makeup product for the rest of my life, it would be this. Okay, so I have tried just about everything and this is what I have found:

Hard Candy from Wal-Mart mixed with Laura Mercier Secret Camo plus a little bit of Eve Pearl. The orange-peach of Laura Mercier and Eve Pearl go on first with the concealer brush to counter the purplish shadows and the Hard Candy pencil goes on top then the tube concealer, with a very light touch, to highlight and brighten. I have no idea what your skin tone is but it's working for me right now. Who knows in a couple of months! Best of luck.

OP here. I don't even have wrinkles and it settles into wrinkles. Although Touche Éclat isn't a concealer, I have sincerely given up the idea of full coverage, so it might be a good idea to try it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I see that Prescriptives is back online. I really used to love their little compact concealer. Wonder if I can remember what color I wore!

Touche Eclat isn't really a concealer, it's a highlighter and has very little coverage. You should try Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer Kit.

(PP again) - I also use Dr. Brandt's Lineless Eye Cream morning and night - between the two, I've seen a huge difference.

I have insane dark circles, made worse by the first year of parenting. I've given up on them ever being fully concealed, but would like to not look like I have two fading black eyes. I've tried many, many brands. What concealer doesn't migrate and doesn't settle into lines?
