Honor Roll is As and Bs, one C allowed if there is an A to balance (but no more than one C). I don't think you'll be able to find an "average" GPA. The Gazette used to print the names of honor roll students each quarter, but I think that is just high school, and not really sure if they still do it. Honor Roll really isn't a big deal in elementary school (or I wouldn't make it one with your kid). At my kid's school they don't even call it that, it's a "Principal's List," and kids are on it if they get those grade,s or if their teacher sees that they have been working really hard.

ES is more about learning how to learn, developmental progress, etc.

Stupid and embarrassing question. But what is the rough average GPA in MC elementary schools. Does it depend on the school? I am told that Honor Roll means a student has all As and Bs. Is that true? Roughly what percentage of students are on Honor Roll?
