Our town recycles aluminum foil, and that includes recyclable baking pans like this. They're foil. You just wad them into a giant ball. People have to check with their local recycling guidelines.

Me too. I've been cooking Thanksgiving turkeys for 25 years and never had a problem with the disposable ones.

World Market has nice ones for $4.99....

OP here, thanks, just got home with my new $4.00 roasting pan. (and I'll probably end up trying to wash and reuse it too!)

I would use one, except I know I would end up washing it so that I could recycle the aluminum and that would be crazy.

Dangerous, spring for a decent pan you can reuse year after year.

I have misplaced my roasting pan and am thinking of using one of the disposable ones you can buy at the grocery store. Is this a bad idea or would it work out ok? Thanks in advance!
