Three weather days are allowed. After that, the fourth day is made up on Feb. 20th. Then I think the fifth day is not made up, then the sixth "snow" day is made up on Apr 9th (which would otherwise be a day off). The rest is listed on the FCPS site.

Basically, we have two snow days left without any make up.

How many days are allowed to be missed before make up days are enforced? Also, what if you don't send your child to school on a make up day? It is treated just like any other day you may keep your chold out, right?

And realistically, the roads were in bad enough shape the next morning that it would have been chaotic to try to bus kids through.

I know this wasn't too long ago that we had hurricane/earthquake issues.... but my memory is terrible.

Did they cancel a couple of days of school already this year?
