Subject: Best place to get pies in the area
The place in Occoquan is Mom's Apple Pie Company: http://www.momsapplepieco.com/locations/ . Their pies are pretty good, but not as good as I was hoping.
The best pies I have ever eaten came from High Hill Country Store in Round Hill, VA. I think I am going to make the drive from Springfield, VA this weekend to buy some of these pies for Thanksgiving. They are worth the drive. Soooo good!

The grocery stores are all sorely lacking in the pie department. Wegman's isn't bad though. Who else? I had heard in the past about a place in Occoquan that is popular? Costco's pies are good, but they are not unique and they seem kind of industrial for something as special as a holiday meal.
