I love the muffin pan I have that makes just the muffin tops. I also have cooling racks that have improved the cookies I make. A cake-decorating kit is also fun. (Gee, can you tell I like carbs?!)

Odd sized measuring cups and spoons

My husband thought I was nuts when I registered for an egg slicer-now he uses it all the time. Not just for eggs either. Mushrooms and strawberries are probably the things we moist frequently slice with it. Easier than hauling out the mandoline and easier to clean than a food processor.

Assuming you have a kitchen aid mixer-do any of the attachments for it interest you?

Scale and coffee grinder

It's an ice cream scoop from pampered chef that's sized down (two tablespoons, I think) so it's perfect for scooping out cookie dough. A dozen cookies, perfectly even and circular in 30 seconds. I use it constantly for cookies, drop biscuits, etc.

Not a gadget, but my emil henry casserole/pie/etc dishes. They are so easy to clean that even the husband doesn't protest!
