I slice them lengthwise and put them in sandwiches. Excellent with turkey, or with hummus.

we love them but they do go bad quick-anyone know why? We eat cukes throughout the week but these never last more than two/three days of purchase so we buy the english ones too.

Thanks for the replies. I did wonder if they would taste weird or bitter but they sound perfect for snacks and lunch.

They are called persian cucumbers and they are very tasty. Crunchy and my DS just LOVES them. I use them all the time and I buy them at TJ's.

Maybe you're referring to Persian cucumbers? I've bought them at Costco (went bad too quickly) and buy them all the time at Trader Joes. My kids love them. They are seedless or have very few seeds, are very firm, and have nice flavor.

The Persian cucumbers? We love them. No need to peel them, minimal seeds.

Like, pickling cucumbers? I have never seen anything but those. I think they are kind of bitter. I don't know what the point would be, since you have to peel them anyway.

Saw some in the store recently and want to get some. Do they taste like regular sized ones?
