I am probably ahead of you at Haycock and will most likely relinquish my spot soon. At least one person down. That list is pretty long.

If he's suppose to go to Haycock. Keep him in the private spot. So Ican have your SACC spot!!! HA! I'm really just kidding as it is a big thing to decide. It is crazy how long these wait lists are!

Personally, I'd move him. The SACC program at our local school is amazing. They do a fabulous job. Plus he gets to go to school with all of his friends. I'd move him.

I'm amazed the waiting lists are so long. There is no waiting list for SACC at our local FCPS school. It seems unfair to me to not have space for all who need it.

This is the OP. Never mind. We're probably not going to move him. It was just something to finally get off of the list!

Title says it all. Obviously, public + SACC is MUCH cheaper than private + extended care. WWYD? DS likes his school but his neighborhood friends go to the public. The public is a mid-range elementary school -- not the best in FFX County and certainly not the worst. Our neighborhood is a little diverse and I'm sure that is represented in the school. Aack! Completely torn. The only reason he is in private was because we couldn't get the SACC position in K and we finally got it now that he's in 2nd grade!!!
