Yes exactly. Always take them for Ethiopian food, as long as they like to try new things and like spicy food.

Try Birch & Barley, or if you're more adventurous, the Atlas Room. Great food and cocktails.

always old ebbitt. out of towners love it. Don't know why all the PPs said the food isn't good. It's never spectacular but it's consistently good.

Depends on adults, kids or teens. We like 1789, Serendipity, H St Country Club, Granville Moore's, Hanks Oyster Bar, Dino, Spices.

2nd America Eats. I took one out of town guest and recommended it to another. It's fun and the connection to the Archives exhibit make it unique.

Same here. Our out-of-town visitors are pleased. We also take visitors to Old Town to The Chart House.

On the higher end RIS is great. We also do Oyamel, Zaytina, Central, Tabard Inn, Estadio, and if you can get in in the next two months America Eats. (had a spectacular meal there for our anniversary)

Can you recommend a restaurant where you bring others when they are visiting DC? Adults only this time...
Want a fun environment and prefer in the possibly expensive, but not crazy expensive range. Not upper stratosphere restaurant!
