Welcome to the expansion and grand opening of the Strong Start DC Early Intervention Playgroup! The playgroups are being offered at no cost to children from 6 months up until the age of 3 years and ll months who are part of the early intervention program.

The groups will be held at 3 locations in Washington, DC:

Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute (801 Buchanan St. NE)

Mary’s Center (1707 Kalorama Road, NW)

The Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE)

The activities will be developmentally appropriate to promote social interactions as well as emphasize growth in all developmental domains.
Activities that are multisensory will be integrated into all groups. Parent and caregiver interactions are an essential part of the program and parents and caregivers will be asked to remain for the duration of each group.

Open houses will be held this week:

Monday, November 7th at the Mary’s Center (1707 Kalorama Road, NW) from 10:00am-12:00pm

Wednesday, November 9th at The Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave, SE) from 9:00am-12:00pm.
