Also, wasn't MJ never convicted of child abuse. Didn't the family in the 90's accept a huge amount of money instead of seeking legal actions. That's just shady. I feel like if someone sexually abused my child, no amount of money would make me stop trying to get this person in jail.

I agree. I think if anything, MJ was asexual. I don't think he was interested in sex with anybody- minor, man or woman. The trial has made MJ up to be a saint and he was anything but. He had huge psychological and social issues. CM's main mistake was to accept to be MJ's personal physician. I think anybody who was MJ's physician would have likely bowed to MJ's insane demands and done something similar. I think CM should probably lose his license for professional negligence but I don't think he belongs in jail.

Yes but it won't matter. California prisons are so overcrowded with felons that misdemeanors are not serving their time or, if they are, it's on house arrest. He's not going to go to jail no matter what.

I don't know if he WILL be found guilty but I think he SHOULD be. By deviating so grossly from the proper standard of care, he caused MJ's death. I know he didn't mean to, but that's why he's charged with something lesser than first degree murder. He's so guilty.

Murry had four GALLONS of propofol delivered to his girlfriend's apartment (CM is married and has three other girlfriends as well that he was busy talking to on his phone while leaving MJ to die). CM was willing to give MJ this drug and even if you believe that MJ gave himself the fatal dose (which I do not believe is supported by the experts), but even if you believe that, it was CM who left MJ with access to a controlled substance. CM left MJ alone long enough such that he did not notice that MJ stopped breathing. CM knew that he wasn't giving proper care and that's why he hid the fact that he had given propofol when the EMTs and ER docs asked what MJ was on and why he had a doctor in the house and why MJ had an IV. The ER docs knew it didn't make sense. CM knew he had made a major mistake and he tried to cover it up.... that's consciousness of guilt that he had killed MJ by failing to take proper care of him.

Absolutely. Do YOU have access to propofol in your home?? Because you want to sleep?? They're talking about gross negligence, which that is. H never should have been given the drug for sure, been given access to drug if they want to say MJ took it himself, and if any of that did happen, the doctor should have been by his side the entire time. Any way you spin the facts, he's guilty in my opinion.

I think Murray made it possible for MJ to get a drug that shouldn't be used outside a hospital setting and without an MD in constant attendance. He should have known better (and probably did but wanted the $$). MJ died because of his greed and neglect. Involuntary manslaughter is appropriate, IMO.

I don't know. Was it CM or MJ who gave the fatal dose of propofol? All I keep thinking is that it must have been flattering and a nice income to be MJ's personal physician but I would have never taken the job if I were him. MJ was one messed up dude.

I think not... and I don't think he should either. And while we are discussing this case, I cannot believe how MJ suddenly became a "saint." I am not talking about the trial, but since his death no one ever mentions his pedophilia anymore.... Death was the best thing that happened to him and his state.
