Race has no part in this discussion! How absurd. Please bring your baby of any color out for a little while. The neighbors will love to see her all dressed up.

Yup, we're a minority and that's what I was afraid of.

Go anyway. Many hispanics come to my house with their little tiny babies and I just love it (any excuse to see babies).

It will only look weird if you take more than 1 candy. Show the candy to the baby before you put it into the bag. Also, just go to a small number of houses so you don't have a huge bag of candy and a little kid.

WTF?? Are you people serious? Do I smell TROLL? Why in the world does race matter in this situation???

uh

ok

Let me guess...you're pro-junky-candy for a child under two? I can't even begin to have that discussion. Let's agree to disagree.

Definitely still go! While I'm happy to see all trick or treaters, I love the littlest ones who have no idea why they're outside and in a costume best of all.

My husband is out of town and I'm still taking our 2 y.o. DD trick or treating alone.

Go without her! 18 month olds in costume are always welcome to knock on our door and ask for candy , they look so adorable.

Absolutely go trick or treating! It's not like you would be going out for a long time anyway (not with an 18 mo old). It'll be fun!

We were supposed to join my friend ToT in their neighborhood. She has a 6yo and a 18mo (my DD's age)

They're not going ToT anymore and I'm so bummed! Is it weird if I go by myself with my 18mo old in the neighborhood behind our building? (our building doesn't do ToT) It's my first time participating in Halloween so I'm not quite sure of what's appropriate...

Thanks for your input.
