Go anyway. Many hispanics come to my house with their little tiny babies and I just love it (any excuse to see babies).
It will only look weird if you take more than 1 candy. Show the candy to the baby before you put it into the bag. Also, just go to a small number of houses so you don't have a huge bag of candy and a little kid.
