I did not think that you were being literal, but the other poster seemed to make it sound as though such accusations are commonplace for politicians at that level.

Check me on this: You actually thought that we were both being literal, and thought we all could benefit from your review of the likelihood of various candidates - including the females - committing sexual harassment? Because you actually thought that we thought that it was likely that every candidate, including the females, had sexually harassed someone? That's what just happened?

If the identity of the women have been confirmed I think that it is only a matter of time before pictures start showing up in the press. Either they will come forward (especially if Cain keeps saying that the allegations were baseless) or someone will drag them out.

Depends on the race of the "victims". If they are non-white this will be treated as just another "high tech lynching" my most of the media and Cain will live to make a run for the nomination. If one or both of the women are white - you can stick a fork in Cain becasue he is done!

Looks like we'll probably never know.

POLITICO has confirmed the identities of the two female restaurant association employees who complained about Cain but, for privacy concerns, is not publishing their names.

However, I am quite sure that Cain will be finished once they uncover the photograph of him with Lois Farrakhan and his connections with Reverend Wright.

Actually, I meant to say something along those lines and forgot to include it. In the Republic of Tea-Party-stan, sexual harassment is just another way of saying "foreplay". Those whiney feminazis should go home and shave their armpits.

I assume that Herman Cain has "I Hate Mondays" on endless loop today. At a minimum, he must hate this Monday. Two stories have broken that are not exactly helpful to his campaign:

1) Two apparent accusations of sexual harassment that ended with settlements paid to the two accusers.
2) Allegations that Prosperity USA, an organization founded by well-known cigarette smoker and Cain aid Mark Block, illegally spent tens of thousands of dollars to help Cain's campaign get off the ground.

With regard to the first, Cain admits the charges but claims they were false. The campaign hasn't commented on the second other than to say it needs time to look into the issue.

While Cain's first reaction to the sexual harassment story was to blame it on liberals, liberals have no interest in damaging him at this point. To the contrary, it's in liberal's interest to see Cain keep threatening Romney. More likely, Cain's Republican colleagues have the knives out for him.
