OP, when our 5YO was consistently leaking through the overnight pull-ups, that's when we decided to start night training in earnest. We ditched the pullups entirely. He was nighttrained within a month.

My 3.5 year old still wets the bed sometimes but we've had great success with those pads that lay on top of the sheet, not under it. Much easier to pull off and replace during the night if there's an accident.

Can you pick him up and put him on the toilet in the 10-11:00 hour? Not where he's fully awake but just so that he can go and then hopefully not fill the diaper? We called it the "dream pee" in our house.

We tried nighttime pull-ups, but they never worked. We went back to Huggies Overnites diapers.
Instead of diaper doublers, we get regular generic maxipads and put them in the diapers. They work the same as diaper doublers, but they cost a lot less.

Oddly enough they may need to drink more fluids. If their system does not sense the need to pee until the bladder Is full, you are making the situation worst

I second the bedwetting store ideas. Also, juice or popsicles from supper on will worsen the problem. So in addition to limiting liquids, I keep away from any juice.
I sometimes take him to the bathroom around 10 to pee. Still have the same problems you're having often.

We use a combination of items from the bedwetting store. These briefs (which run small by the way):

and these waterproof overlays have been key:

We have waterproof mattress pads and all the rest of course, too.
Also, my husband often takes our son to the bathroom before he goes to bed.

OP, I've read about cloth underwear like diapers that go up to larger sizes, but I've never tried them so I don't know how well they work.
I don't think this poster was suggesting it would stop the bedwetting--just that it would prevent the leaking through the dipaer so it is helpful.

I gave up on them for the same reasons. I figured if I was washing sheets anyways, why pay for the pullup. I did not find a good solution. My ped was not concerned with night wetness at 5. At 8, we used a wetness alarm based on her recommendation. I was skeptical but it really worked. Until then, I washed alot of sheets..though I had my son strip the bed and replace the sheets himself. Not in a punishing way just the routine.

Our 45-lb. 5 yo son (in kindergarten) still wears a pull-up at night. Lately the Good Nights leak *every* night even though he is nowhere near the weight limit, which is 65 lbs. Any alternatives? I'm so sick of washing sheets every night!
