I'm in the same boat. Wake up in a cold sweat almost every morning. I repeat over and over in my head "I don't live in a tent city. I don't live in a tent city...." Sadly that doesn't help and neither do these threads. I don't know why I open them. I guess it's because I always hope there are more people like the two of us. Misery loves company.

30 and 35, about 130K, plus a vested pension (which won't amount to much if DH leaves his job for a higher paying one as he hopes to since the amount gets bigger the longer you stay, but it will still be a monthly stream)

Both 34, probably about $130Kish? Not entirely sure - we lost a lot due to the crash in 2008...and then this year. We put away into retirement the recommended 15%, whatever that amounts to, but started getting to that amount right before the crash. Feels like throwing money into a black hole right now.

A good portion of ours in in Roth IRAs and a couple other smaller vehicles. Neither of our employers does a 401K plan, so almost all of our savings is out of pocket after-tax money.

Both 33 about $240K. Down about 20% in the last quarter.

42 and 49. About $200,000. Plus two small pensions. DH was divorced so a big chunk of his retirement went to ex-wife (as it should).

28, single, 50K currently. Ramped up savings after the market crashed, so bought cheap.

31 and 34, our accounts have $32k. We are saving at a rate of about $10,000 a year.
