If it's a Scholastic Book Fair, the collection may be there, but it may not. The inventory is hit-or-miss. The prices probably wouldn't be any different (although at the end of the year book fair at my school, it's usually B1G1 free).

Thanks! I kind of assumed that the book fair was a fundraiser of some sort so I'll try to buy a few things, but will probably go ahead and buy the collection of books that my DC wants from Scholastic now.

We have an upcoming book fair at my DC's FCES and I was wondering if the book prices are better at these fairs than ordering through Scholastic. We have an order due soon to Scholastic, but I want to get my DC a book collection that is quite pricey and I'm not sure if I should wait for the book fair and hope they have the collection and it's cheaper or just buy through Scholastic.
