I've been TTC for about 6 cycles (i'm 31) and this cycle decided to join the gym ( I wanted to all year, but held off incase I got pregnant after which I don't want to work out). Anyway, since I haven't conceived yet, I'm now working out, and HARD. I am doing aerobics, body pump (weight) classes), and roughly hitting up the gym everyday for at least an hour to hour and a half. Is this safe to do, especially in the first few weeks after ovulation ( where I am right now- Day 8 after ovulation), and is it okay to be doing lots of core abdominal work? I figured as long as I'm not prengnat I want to look good and work out as hard as I can until I have to stop. BUT, is it okay to be working out HARD at this point in my cycle??? I hate putting my life on 'hold' esp. b/c that's what I've done all year in respect to many things b/c I thought, 'oh what if i'm pregnant this month' - it's such a bummer when you're not, and were so careful for no reason. But if this hinders my chances then obviously I'll cool off next cycle in the initial stages after O.....but honestly I can't believe how great I feel, and how much I'm loving exercising!!!
