Similar advice, but I would go to Sephora. They have access to more than one line of products and can help you mix and match to get the best ones for your needs. They'll also show you how to apply. FWIW - I am similar to you in coloring and they suggested Urban Decay eye foundation for lids and under eye. It looks totally natural and definitely brightened me up. Some days all I do is a tiny bit of blush and the eye foundation and it looks great.

Drag yourself to the Bobbie Brown counter at Nordstrom. They'll help you!

I am relatively low- or maybe medium-maintenance in terms of makeup. I wear drugstore brands of makeup and although I wear it every day, I apply it pretty sparingly.

I've noticed that I look tired more often than I used to and attribute that to age. So, maybe I need to re-think concealer (which I've never really paid attention to) and possibly eye makeup (is there some technique that will brighten the eyes?).

What do you use for these products? What products do you find make a difference?

FWIW I am fair-skinned (of Irish descent) and have reddish-brown hair (well, that's my natural/original color; I color it to that tone now because otherwise it's mousy grey-brown).

Thanks.
