DCPS principal is a thankless job that has gotten only more challenging with the advent of IMPACT and the amount of time it takes from a principal's day.
It's a sad day for DCPS, but I'm sure Kim will be better compensated for working far fewer and less stressful hours. She did a lot of good for students in DCPS and even though we didn't get a spot in the school, I've always been very impressed by Kim and Deal.
I wish her the best of luck.

Very disappointing. She's going to work for New Schools Venture Fund and will hopefully use her expertise to improve or create other outstanding middle schools in other wards.
