Exempt from a rule of which she was not aware? For a first class, she should have been cut some slack. I also do not understand the concept of a "teachable moment" - when keeping track of time is a responsibility of a parent, not a 3 yr old.
Moreover, the fact that the studio would not bend in this instance is disgusting to me. This is a 3 yr old dance class - get the freak over yourselves. If it were 13 year olds, fine. But 3 year old. PLEASE.
