Dr. Spier is a GREAT cardiac surgeon - known to be one of the best in the area.

Definitely Dr. Alan Spier at CVTSA. My mom had Aortic valve replacement about 5 months ago and was able to have the minimal incision, so her recovery was much easier. He is such a nice person, too.

A third vote for CVTSA - Drs. Spier or Massimiano. They are at Inova Heart & Vascular Hospital, no need to go to Hopkins for that.
