hi everyone,

I got a couple hand me down metal serving platters / trays. Two unrelated questions:

1) I would like to add foot/feet to the bottom of one - where can I buy metal feet to stick to the bottom of the tray? Any ideas? I haven't checked home depot, may be that is a possibility.

2) How do I know if they are safe to serve food on? is there s simple test? there is nothing etched on the bottoms/undersides.
