The Fox News poll has Perry plummeting from 29% to 19% GOP support. I guess the magic has worn off now that the public gets to hear him speak. Actually I am kind of sad that half of his fall is due to his reasonable approach to border issues. But then I am reminded of the other half, which is that we can't trust him with social security. Romney takes the front runner status by virtue of standing still. He's at 23%.
Meanwhile Cain moves forward to 17% (!) I applaud the can-do spirit of this group of voters. At least they rewarded success. But then Gingrich moved up to 11% of the vote, proving that keeping your head down pays off. Maybe this will finally convince him that he should start trying. Together though they really represent a belief in ABR (Anyone But Romney), who by any logic should have moved forward.
