Try Windows caterers in Alexandria. Food is great. Occasions Catering in DC is also good. Personally, I don't find Balducci's or Whole Foods all that great especially with the prices they charge.

Whole Foods prepared Thanksgiving sides suck.

Have you looked into Whole Foods? I seem to recall that they had a deal on pre-cooked (just heat-n-serve) Thanksgiving last year. Not 100% sure but worth looking into.

There's a Balducci's in McLean. too! Did this last year and it was really good. Did Whole Foods two years ago and it wasn't good...Leesburg might be too far for you but South Street Under does an AMAZING job (stopped by a friend's house and she used them for her family spread) plus Mom's Apple Pie is right on the way in for pies, cakes and pastries.

Thank you! I'll check that out. I definitely agree with you about Whole Foods. I definitely want something tastier and a little more special than they provide.

I'd vote for Balducci's in Bethesda. It was expensive but they have everything and their food is quite good. You can also do Whole Foods but I personally don't think it's that great.

Have a big group (20-30) coming to my house, and I don't cook. (I work full-time, have kids, etc, etc. Don't bash me, I just don't cook.)
I just moved to McLean. In my last neighborhood, there was a great bakery/deli that did Thanksgiving catering, and you could order everything you could possibly need and it was absolutely delicious.
Any suggestions for me around here?
Thanks!
