Parents should sign up if they want their kids to watch it during school hours.
Those kids then should be pulled out, and go to a library or something to watch it.
Would you say the same thing if the President was Ronald Reagan? Serious question.
Yes. Why do you ask?
I'm politically neutral if that's what you are asking.
Bipartisanship is too black or white to me.
Yes, that's what I was wondering. Thanks for answering. I hear a lot of people, in general, criticize *this* president. And I was wondering if people aren't wanting their kids to hear the speech because it's coming from Obama or if they are against having their kids hear this type of speech from *any* president. The first one bothers me. The second one does not.
There were a lot of people who didn't like Bush Jr. I won't be surprised by a lot of people criticizing Obama.
Either case doesn't bother me.
However it sounds too much if parents selectively want or not want their elementary school kids to hear speech from whatever president intended for young kids.
Schools provide 'opt out' option I guess to be 'appropriate'.
I just think 'sigh up' option should be more 'appropriate'.
