There is another thread on this I think...but yes, more 8th graders than ever have 'hung on' , about 80% I think. A portion who stayed chose Latin over other options (Wilson, Walls, independent). Of course some who left went straight to those options. Latin has its own narrative and reasons for giving it serious thought. Is there anything specific you are curious about? It's been a very good start to the year. We had a lot of natural trepidation about staying but are excited now.

Can anyone in the Washington Latin community talk about how the high school is shaping up? Are more 8th graders staying on? Just a curious middle-school parent who's looking at options...
