We need to reduce kids allergies. They live in an over-sanitized environment from birth, never developing natural resistance to allergens as they once did.

Greetings Everyone. I was went to Walmart to get My Presciption filled for and * Epi-Pen* I do not have insurance it would cost Me out of Pocket @+$ 200.00 dollars sighs, I have been checking other links. Came across the EPI-Pen Savings Program going to call them to see if the $0-COPAY is in effect still. which theN I would only have to pay only $ 100.00 with the Savings Card Discount.

Ooh, I am going to ask to get this Auvi thing. I hate how big the epipen is. I can't stash that monster in a clutch, so when we go out to nicer events I still have to have a larger bag. Nice to know there is finally some competition!

I love the Auvi-Q. It talks to you and tells you what to do step by step. I used a coupon so with insurance it was only 25 dollars. If you google the it they have coupons.

The Epi Pen manufacturers are giving out coupons right now because they have competition from a new and much smaller epinephrine injector called Auvi-Q.

BTW I understood from my sons doctor that you should always carry 2. One dose is often not enough, particularly if the ambulance is delayed.

Get coupons. It brought my epi pen cost from $100 (after insurance) to nothing. Yep - a $100 coupon! The people at epi pen called it in to the pharmacy but said getting the coupon in the mail is better because some pharmacies don't like coupons called in. CVS was fine with it though

I carry 2 just as a backup in case the 1st one doesnt work or isnt enough (sometimes it isnt).

EpiPens (from my local CVS and I assume everywhere else) now only come in twin packs. Today at CVS (no Part D coverage) I was asked to pay $251.58. That's an increase of 21% vs. 2012. My doctor's prescription specified ONE EpiPen but they (Mfr.) now only do twin packs - for something I will probably never need! Why TWO? This is a real rip off. Am now looking at alternatives. Please, everyone, go to www.pnhp.org ... "SINGLE PAYER", the only real solution.

$120 is correct. We pay out of pocket for EpiPens because of a high deductible insurance plan and they cost us about $120 at CVS.

Well, with insurance, I pay $50, which stinks. And I need 3 at any given time (school, SACC, and home). And of course, they expire in about a year, so it's quite an expense for us.

My DD needs epipens for school, my current insurance wont kick in until Oct 1st. I need to have this script filled tomorrow and pay out of pocket. I'm researching online for local stores and what they charge, if you pay out of pocket for an epipen where do you get it filled? Target quoted me $120 which seems like too much.
