Why?

She's a shrill, highly partisan campaign manager/advisor to several candidates. To say she's debasing the tone of public discourse during this election is to put it mildly.

Anyone know if there are videos posted of the School Board candidates' debates? I searched online and all I could find were articles from the Patch.

Check your local Patch newspaper. It should have a number of articles and interviews with the School Board candidates.

I need to research more but the one candidate I am for sure supporting is Sheree Brown Kaplan. She posts on a special needs message board I frequent and is always coherent, eloquent and helpful.

No good single source of information and party affiliations tell you little either.

There is a group of reformers who challenge Jack Dale frequently, including Sandy Evans and Patty Reed, who are sitting members, and Louise Epstein and Megan McLaughlin, who are running this year. Some of the worst incumbents, like Stuart Gibson and Liz Bradsher, aren't seeking re-election.

Is there a good place to get information on the school board elections--what the candidates are running on, issues, positions, a bit of history maybe for those of us who haven't lived here for very long?
