Chuck E Cheese, or a sports-related party like ice skating? There is a duck pin bowling place in College Park, MD that does pizza parties.

where's the duck pin bowling in college park? There's one in White Oak, but i'd love to find one closer (great rainy day activity for little ones!)

The National Building Museum does birthday parties. Or rent out a duck tour of DC and then have lunch at Union Station.

We did a "pump it up" birthday blast and everyone, including the adults had a blast.

Dynamite Gymnastics may be too far away (in North Bethesda), but they do parties for kids ages 3 and up. They also have a few staff members that will dress up like superheroes (Spiderman is the one I saw) and jump on the trampoline. FUN! The kids love it!

I think PP meant that the party was *the* bomb.

We did a birthday party for our 4 year old with kids pro soccer, just last weekend, and it was a bomb! Kids had lots of fun.

Hello All:

We recently relocated to the District and are hoping to give our son a birthday party in the Fall. Can anyone recommend a great place to host a really fun birthday party? At 5 kids love to run-around and be engaged, also, our son is into Spider-Man big time (although we don't have to have a super hero party). I looked into the Smithsonian and the Spy Museum but apparently neither facility does parties for such young children. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you could share.

Thanks a bunch!
