Reviving this as I'm searching for myself. We will have a toddler with us (with potential to bring grandparent or nanny). We've done Carribbean the last few years and are open to similar or very different. Just need ideas!

We usually go skiing, although normally leave the day after Christmas. Ski resorts are very festive over the holidays.

DH and I are thinking of going away this year for the holidays and would appreciate some suggestions. We've never gone on a trip during the holidays. We've always spent it with family so this will be a first, and we want to go somewhere great. I would love somewhere very festive. Any suggestions? Thanks!
