We were briefly at BH Rockville on Twinbrook and decided to keep DS home with grandma - but I was really sad to do so actually because I liked it there so much. The staff and teachers are great, and loved the long hours in case something came up.

We've been at MCCA for about a year and are very happy there.

I don't know if you still remember, but what did you dislike about Lynbrook? (I know this is an OLD posting) Does anyone else have any info on the center? My son is suppose to start next month and I haven't been able to find much info either positive or negative.

We have two kids at BH-Healthy Beginnings in Rockville and have been happy there. A new director took over there a several months ago and she seems to be trying to be very communicative with parents and also to make sure all the ducks are in a row. Both she and the asst. director always take the time to talk with me whenever I have questions. Along with the new director has come some staff turnover (I get the impression she is "cleaning house"), but the main teachers our kids have been with have in most cases been there for a while. The facility is clean, they serve lunch and two snacks, but what I really like is that the kids seem to like the teachers. I see kids go and hug old teachers all the time and my oldest DC says things like, "I like Miss so-and-so; she's nice to me."

I toured Park Street and didn't really like it. It seemed a little dirty (not regular kid dirty, but long-term grimy dirty), and it wasn't as focused on childhood development as I would have liked. However, I have 4 friends whose kids have been there for years, and they have all just loved it. All other things being equal between, I'd go with your gut feeling on this one.

I looked at BH-Rockville (Fishers Lane) today and loved it but also have appointment at PArk Street later this week. BH wants our decision today/tomorrow so I was wondering if anyone has experienced (or heard of) both and which one would you recommend. I have seen MCCA Lynbrook and hated it. Don't know if Park Street would be similar. Tuition at BH is arnd $100 more than park Street but that is not a concern at all.
