What are some of the non-local camps one would recommend for a skilled middle school player?

Younger and younger. 5 years old is fast becoming the norm. Winners lax is also in NW.

In this town, 5 is not considered too young.

Yes, checkout Breakout Lacrosse, NW-DC based, with a strong St. Albans contingent.

Here are some additional ones:

-Georgetown University
-Upper90 Lax
-Rockville Youth Lacrosse

There are a number more in Arlington and McLean.

You can search our database of listings. Just set your search criteria:

Lacrosse (sport)/9-13 (age)/Boys (Gender)

You can register at http://www.flyburst.com. It's free and just takes a few minutes.

We're brand new to the area. Both my boys (8 and 11) are skilled lacrosse players. In other words, they have all the basic skills and understand well the rules of the game. I'm looking for a camp that might be a good fit, where the focus will be on intermediate and above play. Any recommendations? We live in Maryland, by the D.C. line.

Thank you.
