What was your DC's FSIQ, VCI and PRI. as I am on the same boat as you.
With GBRS 8 adn VCI 132 and PRI 115.

I think you are on the cusp. My understanding is that VCI is considered the best predictor of giftedness, and 112 is quite low for Fairfax GT. PRI is the next most powerful subtest, and 135 is quite good, but not sure that it can overcome a GBRS 8. That said, no one really knows how this machine (appeals process, or for that matter, initial round) works. Good luck to you. If your appeal is unsuccessful, you can always reapply next year with a new (and hopefully higher) GBRS using these WISC scores. There is a poster on these threads who did this with high scores and a low GBRS (I think it was 9 in 2nd grade, then 11 in 3rd grade, which made the difference). Good luck to you. What are the chances on appeal??

Good scores. Samples do little, except to make the parents feel like they've done something to help get their child in. Keep it simple, and let the scores speak.

our DS got denied his acceptance into AAP for next year 4th garde. his GBRS was 8 and his COGAT quatitative was above 140 and composite was 137.
We took WISC IV and WJ III and his scores in WISC IV and WJ III are as follows.... Do you think he has better chances getting into AAP iV if we appeal? How important are samples?

Any idea what VCI and PRI are acceptable in Wisc IV on appeal? Does FSIQ has any importance too?

I think they do look at the individual subtest scores. The 141 PRI is very high. I think that is enough but its just my opinion.

I have read on many posts that you should have a 135 on the wisc for the best appeal. 126 doesn't sound high enough to change someone's mind, but maybe the 141 is an important category for them?

We did Wisc and ready for appeal.

Does my child has a chance on appeal based above score?

I think the committee looks at the individual subtest scores. My daughter's WISC 136 included a couple 17's and 19's. You can google the WISC test and see what the subtests are made up of.
The test gives you a lot of information. For example my daughter was Very Superior and Superior in 3 out of 4 tests. Her PSI (processing speed) was only Above Average. I think that score is less important as an
Above Average Verbal Index Score. I hope that helps.
