Mine did too once. Not a big deal. Wipe it up with a damp towel and let air dry. Cover couch with a water proof pad (they sell flat ones) and then put a blanket over it (fleece is best).

I'm curious why there are no baby wipes in the house -- I think I'd die without them always within hands reach. What do you do when she poops?

Look on pinterest. There is an article about how to clean microfiber and all it is is rubbing alcohol cause it is a great deodorizer and dries very fast.

This stuff is amazing and you will not remember a thing next week.
I know because my dog peed on OUR brand new mf couch and I used bac-out. tHis is the first time in months that I've thought of it.

I realized that I could remove the cover from the cushion and have done so, but have a pretty huge wet area.

If your cushion covers come off, stick them in the laundry. I wash (and dry in dryer) my microfiber cushion covers all the time, come out like new. I have a 12 year old microfiber couch. Dying for a new one, but don't see the point until my kids are older.

Just wait till you are potty training...

You first need to squeeze/absorb the pee out of the sofa, as much as you can, with a dry towel. Then use lysol/oxyclean or whatever stuff pps have suggested. I usually use water to spot clean my microfiber sofa and it works great.

Nature's Miracle is great - but I'd spot test to make sure it won't stain or leave water marks behind.

OxyClean spray is great for bio-spills. I use it on our microfiber couch all the time. I also remove and wash the covers regularly and steam clean the non-removable fabric areas. Always comes out looking and smelling great.

Was it on a cushion cover that you can take off?

I have a cream microfiber sofa, three kids and a dog and a cat. And we drink red wine. Insane, I know. But if something spills on it, I can usually just spot clean it with a gentle upholstery cleaner (I think Mrs. Meyers has one), or if it's on a cushion, I talk all three cushion covers off, spot clean the stain, and throw them all in the laundry. That way one doesn't look cleaner than the other two.

Seriously, I've gotten ink, blood, and wine off of this couch. You probably also want to use febreeze or something like it b/c most likely the urine soaked into the cushion a bit.

OP here. Thanks for both responses. I did try googling, but I could only find solutions for spot stains - not for a pretty large amount of liquid.

Microfiber is amazingly easy to clean. I'd use a babywipe or just water. Then I'd spray it with fabreeze for pets to get out the odor. I've had microfiber furniture for the past five years and despite many spills, including red wine and pizza and accidents from dogs (not kids, but I can't imagine there's much of a difference), my furniture has no stains and looks great.

Wipe is up with a baby wipe, spray it with lysol? Didn't it come with care instructions?
