Solid BFP 10 dpiui after having tested out the trigger (started testing at 7dpiui). I was pregnant with twins.

If you had an IUI, your clinic should have given you a date to return for a blood test so you know if you can stop the progesterone or not (if your period hasn't started) - did they not tell you to return?

I had an IUI with shot two weeks ago. I tested at day 12 and saw a very very faint line. My hushand thought I was seeing things. Today day 14 it is still very faint but more a little more noticeable since day 12.
I wonder if I could still have the shot in my system of If I could actually be pregnant?
.. Wondering if I should just wait another two days or just call my doctor to schedule a blood test?

Had beta done 11 DPO and was positive with only a 9. Was told would not have even showed up on the urine test yet. Went back 48 hours later and it had tripled, 3 days after that and it had over tripled again. I am due this weekend My main symptom was extremely sore nipples from the date of insemination. I had never had that before. However, this was also my first time using injectibles so I am not sure if was related to that or the fact I was indeed pregnant. Good luck-I did 3 clomid IUIs with no luck and the 4th IUI and 1st with injectibles worked.

I tested positive day 12 the first time and day 8 the second time

Oh and to add to above.. I did not have the trigger shot, I was only on clomid days 5-9 of my last period...

I had my first IUI on 2-20-12, its now 8 days past.. I tested 4 days past and negative and I tested this morning and also negative. I started having period like symptoms day 6 PIUI. Since this is my first time I am getting discouraged a little bit about the likelyhood that I will in deed be pregnant... Just needing a little reassurance I guess...

I got a faint positive 10 days past IUI (I had a trigger 36 hours prior to IUI). The cheapie internet HPT's picked up a HCG level of about 17, so not too bad.

12 days past IUI had a positive. I actually started feeling what I thought were period cramps 10 days past and was sure AF on the way. I only tested because had a left over HPT. I'm now 32 weeks. GL!

I tested 2 weeks to the day after my IUI. Clear positive. No symptoms.

13 days post iui i had a faint second line. my doctor wants me to do it again in 2 days before doing a blood test. i can't stand this wait.

I tested 10 days past IUI (after getting a negative at 8 DPIUI, so I knew trigger shot was gone), and got a positive.

I tested 12 days past IUI, got a positive, and it turned out to be correct! No other symptoms really.

It all depends on whether you had an HCG trigger shot or not. If you did, you may be seeing false positives that are just measuring the HCG from the shot until 2 weeks after the IUI - that's why it's called the two week wait.

I was impatient after my IUI and tested every single day. What I noticed was that the line got slightly fainter from day 1-8 and then started to get darker from day 9-14. It was never really that dark, but towards the end of the 14 days it is clearly my HCG, as opposed to the trigger shot, which is all that matters.

If you can't wait 14 days, then you should test consistently to see if you notice a trend. To avoid the high cost, you can buy cheap HPTs on Amazon (about 25 for $10) to chart your progress.

And yes, I felt symptoms immediately - bloating, swollen breasts, cramping and painfully tight ligaments around my pelvic region. The problem is that the symptoms are often similar to those of your period, so you can't read too much into them. The only thing that was new for me was the ligament pain, but everyone is different.
