Go to Bellini, all my family has bought there and we are all happy with the quality and service. I actually do not understand some of the reviews here since we have never faced any of these situations, actually we have been turned off by Daisy Baby's service and aggressiveness. Bellini sells Newport Cottage too with better pricing, which we purchased ourselves. check it out yourself .

Bellini stuff is made in China. Go to Daisy Baby in Bethesda instead.

I purchased a child's dresser from Bellini in 2007 and I've been so disappointed with the quality. They had to come fix the middle drawer in 2009 and they charged almost $100 for the house call and repair. Now the top drawer won't close properly. All in all it is cheaply made. I could have done better at Ikea.

i almost bought from bellini but found the customer service either extremely pushy or absent. we stopped in just to look around and the woman followed us around the entire time and then called me at least three times over the next week which was a huge turnoff. she needed us to decide that week because they were having a huge huge sale that would only run until x blah blah blah. the next time we went in there was a guy there who completely ignored us for the fist 15 minutes we were there (with no one else in the store). also i noticed a lot of their floor models were scratched, which was another turnoff. and the made in china thing was a huge deal for my mom.

we ended up at Daisy Baby. they have good made in America choices - we got a Young America by Stanley one as well. customer service was amazing and Dana will sit with you for hours (literally) while you debate "linen" vs "cream." we also got all out bedding from there and got a hefty discount.

We bought the Jessica High changer there last year. It has held up well so far, but it took 8 weeks to come in.

You can mix and match a lot of brands and companies depending on color. I have a graco crib, the high changer and an ikea book case. They all work because they are all white.

Baby furn is surprisingly big compared to the size of most bedrooms. Once I started measuring, I had to shop around to get stuff to fit. Not to mention, I saved a lot of money.

I sprung for the one Bellini piece because it's a changer, dresser and converts to a top book case when the baby gets bigger. It fits my needs and the space.

I think they run a sale in August, so look into that. It saved me almost $200.

I second the Newport Cottages, as well as Young America by Stanley. Remember, it ia Baby BARGAINS - I found that book to be more focused on price than quality.

I agree about the made in China. I didn't think the crUBS were that sturdy either. PB quality is terrible.

We got a crib and dresser. The quality is amazing. It does take 3-4 months to order, do you need to have that long to wait. BB also gives them a bad rating for delivery issues, but we had no problems.

Daisy Baby in Bethesda has a few pieces on their floor.

We chose not to buy at Bellini as all their furniture is now made in china.....no thanks.

I have shopped around at every store and found the Bellini to be the best. Yes they ended up a couple of hundred dollars more than Pottery Barn Kids but the furniture is so much stronger and well made. Our glider was actually cheaper at Bellini! We got a crib that converts to a full size bed so we are looking to have this furniture for a long time.

Can't vouch for the store, but I can tell you that in 2007 for the birt of my first child we got Bellini brand furniture from Craigslist. This included a crib, changing table, and armoir.

It's held up incredibly, amazingly well. The cognac stained wood still looks fantastic. Child #2 is now using the set, since #1 has graduated to preschool stuff.

We got a dresser w/ changer and wardrobe in early 2008. Both have held up fabulously. Did not get a crib from them
as a friend was very unhappy with hers. Apparently the bars scratched very easily from things like her husband's belt hitting them.

We bought a crib at Bellini as well, despite the Baby Bargains review. Bellini is clearly sensitive to Baby Bargains because the person who sold us our crib told us the BB people were paid to say what they say -- that kind of made me mad because it's clearly not true, but I let it go.

So our crib is beautiful and really nice and sturdy, and I like that they have never had a recall (check that, but I believe it is true). Another pro is that if something goes wrong with your crib they will come to your house to fix it for free. We found this out when the drawer underneath the crib broke. I read other reviews online that said this is a common problem, so watch out for that. They came and fixed it but it broke again, though I can usually get it back on its tracks with some maneuvering.

ALSO check the prices and try to negotiate with them -- we bought a crib for the posted price and a few days later saw it advertised for $100 less on the main Bellini Web site! I think the individual franchises decide on the prices and Rockville may be inflating them.

I bought furniture from Bellini in Rockville in mid 2007 for my daughter's room. Last year, I got a full bed (she outgrew the crib/toddler bed). Last month, I bought another dresser for a second nursery (I am expecting another baby in 2 months).

Overall, I have been very happy with the quality of the furniture (and especially the changing table - my 220lbs DH tested it my putting all his weight on it ). I haven't noticed any deterioration in customer service.

I am currently searching for nursery furniture and really like furniture I found at Bellini in Rockville. I worry, however, because the Baby Bargains book gave Bellini a C+. It appears that both the customer service and the quality may have declined in the last couple of years. Has anyone had any experience with the Bellini in Rockville recently? I searched the archives, but I could only find posts from 2008, which appears to be before any problems started.
