I just recieved a letter stating my son is in this years 2nd grade screening pool, but I have not recieved the actual scores

We have not received any cogat and nnat scores from Navy EM. Wonder others in the same boat.

Did anyone from Oakton ES get their scores or decision on selection? TIA

We got the CogAT score today, but no NNAT score.

They will be mailed, not in the Tuesday (or whatever day) folders. Each school does it separately so you may not get them at the same time as others here whose children go to other schools.

I had a feeling they would be in the Tuesday folders today, but my 2nd grader said the folders would come out tomorrow instead...

That's probably the basis for the delay, i.e., keep the time to short to work up an application based on criteria that are NOT primarily COGAT and NNAT.

I would guess that they will be arriving in the next week or 2 in order for the county to be able to stick to their published timeline.

In years past, they have sent that NNAT and CogAT scores separately, and then sent an additional letter to those who are "in the pool."
Referrals for those who are not "in the pool" are due on February 4th.
That doesn't leave a lot of time for the "pool" letters to follow the scores if they don't get the scores out soon.
