strange---but the Arlington one does not have basketball during the winter---only spring, summer and Fall. I always think of it as a winter sport.

Arlington Co. rec has 'first grade' listed as the first avail. age to start...hmmm...

Not sure about places in VA or DC, but Rockville Sportsplex has basketball leagues/lessons starting at 4.

Does anyone know of any leagues/classes for a 5-year old boy?

We are in Arlington and I saw that the leagues don't start until first grade. This is the one sport he is VERY interested in and from a soccer family I know nothing about local basketball leagues, camps, etc.

We are willing to go to DC or VA...
