Thank you!! The place where I go for the tint also shapes them. Do you get them shaped first to even them out or tips on how to do this so applied evenly?

I don't really think it matters what you do first but others may have other ideas. If I think hard about it, I would guess tinting first because then they can see what the shape will be and what needs to be removed moreclearly.

As for the social media mistakes, try a lighter color than you think you need and leave it on for less time than you think the first time.

I use tinted brow mascara daily on my invisible blonde eyebrows and it’s quick and easy and even my brow lady was surprised it was makeup and not dye last time I saw her. It washes out, so if you swim a lot it’s annoying but otherwise easy.

The tails are pretty sparse. I think that’s why I like the dye because it adds some structure and shape to where there’s basically no hair left (some is blonde but there’s not much of it).

Right now I do use a little pencil and some Glossier Boy Brow to fill them in but even with it doesn’t look as good as a tint which is why I’m hoping to find a longer term solution.

Eyebrow tinting is scary to me. Look around on social media for people who didn’t remove the dye in time. Their eyebrows look like caterpillars. Perhaps someone can recommend their eyebrow makeup.

About to turn 40 and my eyebrows have basically disappeared. I love how they look when they’re tinted but the tint usually only lasts a couple of weeks (even though I am very careful not to wash or scrub)

I’m very interested in powder brows but also scared about permanent makeup going blue or gray as I’ve seen it happen and think it looks terrible. I’m fair skinned and don’t wear much makeup so worry permanent makeup might look too unnatural on me.

Any experience with this or suggestions of a reputable brow place? Located in Bethesda but willing to go all the way up to NYC to even for someone good.
