Along with Boldin, they all get good reviews. You have to see which one works for you. We just started with Projections Lab. So far, we like it. And no, we don’t connect our bank/brokerage accounts.(I don’t recall that even being possible.)

+1. I didn’t connect them and I’m the PP above who just downloaded it today. It was beyond helpful just adding in our major retirement accounts and assets.

I wish they had an integration with Monarch! Would make connecting all the accounts so much easier.

I downloaded it after seeing it on this thread and WOW - I’m impressed.

I think it's cFireism that has a side bar where you can input different things for different time periods. I've mostly just used it for LTC costs to see where we stand. I also like that you can put in specific years. As in 1966 - 1982. (I've done a few others.) So see how we would have survived that sort of market.

I would say that you would need a bare minimum of 25x expenses after accounting for taxes. How granular do you want to get? I use Boldin and could probably do the job, but it is $100. What life situations did you want to take into account?

I've used FIRE Calc and some other Monte Carlo-style calculators to track our progress.

Are there other calculators that take various life situations into account? What is it that financial advisors use to determine that you need to work more or can stop working now?
