Sure, but it's really easy to attach a bracket to the wall and the bookshelf such that it can't tip.


Ikea's bracket/tie solution to attach Billy to the wall already failed once for our neighbor. No thanks.

Sure, but it's really easy to attach a bracket to the wall and the bookshelf such that it can't tip.

30-36 wide, preferably 14" depth (instead of the more shallow 11), solid feeling bookshelf for my tween's room

I'm ruling out BILLY but how are the other shelves at Ikea? It seems TONSTAD might be the only deeper shelf there.

White or light/medium wood tones are all fine.
