I’m not too concerned, but of course teens go swimming at the beach.

I might send some liquid bandaid with mine and tell them to cover up any open cuts/shaving nicks/etc. Total overkill, for sure, but can’t hurt.

No. I went to beach week 2x. I don't think I went in the water. I would be more worried about the drive/to from and all of the drinking/drugs and s4x that will be going on and 2nd degree burns. I was a good kid. I have a friend whose sister was killed when the driver fell asleep on the way home. I would not be worried about that particular thing.

Do you all worry about the risk of vibrio (the fresh eating bacteria) with teens going to the beach for beach week? Are beaches in the Northeast safer?
