Rejection sensitivity is definitely a huge issue for many ADHD kids. Some will be so sensitive that they will earnestly deny doing what you just witnessed them doing.

Often impulsive kids need a lot of correction during daily life. They start to feel like the balance of their interactions with adults are negative. One possible solution is to make a huge effort to catch your child being good when they do something that is not yet automatic behavior—remembering to make the bed, showing kindness to a sibling, tidying up without being asked, doing a chore without a reminder, etc.

Yes and probably not. DS is like this (everyone is out to get him. everyone is wrong and he is right.) He has been on ADHD meds for 11y and he is still like this at 21y. We are continually working with him on seeing varying perspectives...with little/no change.

It is the immaturity that often comes with AdHD. Meds may improve the carelessness and impulsivity that leads to problems.

Or it might just be a teenager? This is a very vague description.

Inconsiderate, seemingly thoughtless child with adhd, constantly hurt that folks are annoyed by their actions but never seems to take responsibility for being careless. I’m at my wits end.
