What helped me:
1. HRT (honestly probably made the biggest difference, I was always extremely thin before kids without trying)
2. Strength training like crazy. Started with 3 days a week and worked my way up to 4.
3. 30-40g of protein at breakfast. If I skip breakfast or don’t get enough protein, I get overly hungry later on in the day and binge. Usually I do overnight oats with milk, Greek yogurt, and a scoop of protein powder + some berries.
4. SLEEP. when you’re tired, you eat more and move less.
5. Stopped dating. I was pretty shocked at how much easier it is to be healthy without men around. Whenever I’m in a relationship, I end up sitting around more and eating more junk because they do.
Are there studies that men and women gain weight in relationships?
