It’s a two story house but that part is under a deck.


Is there a faucet or drain anywhere near it? Have you tried using the faucet or drain to see if the leak gets wetter?

Water leaks can be weird.

It’s a two story house but that part is under a deck.

Call more roofers!

When we had a leak, we had a roofer come out. A good roofer should be able to figure it out. They shouldn’t need to cut open ceiling.

First floor ceiling has a leak.
Was quoted $1800 for two guys to come out, drape area en floor in plastic, cut open a 3x3 hole to examine, and spray from the outside with a hose to try to determine the source of the leak.

No guarantees they will find the source, does not include treatment remediation or closing back up.

This is a GC, two different roofers said I need a GC for this.
