How are you spending your days? Like any trip go day by day and consider what you’re doing. I like sundresses or linen pants for walking through cities. Hiking shorts for hiking. And a bathing suit with shorts or dress on the ship.

I shower and change before dinner - anywhere from a nicer jeans outfit to a fancy dress that I want an excuse to wear.

Whatever you wear at home is fine.

Definitely bring layers. The exterior areas/decks of the ship are cool at night with the breeze, and the interiors can be quite chilly especially the casino, theater, and some of the restaurants.

Royal Caribbean isn’t a “fancy” line in general but I’m not sure if the European/Mediterranean cruises skew a little more upscale than the Caribbean/Mexico side which is very relaxed. So I’d ask in a cruise forum or FB group what the vibe is like in terms of formality.

A micro bikini

I would bring —
2-3 bathing suits plus a cover up and flip flops
Rashguard for long days at beach or on a boat trip and snorkeling. Maybe 2 if we are doing a lot of snorkeling type stuff.
Some cool flowy dresses and comfy walking sandals if you are doing any touring
A big straw hat and sunglasses
A cardigan for the dining room which is always freezing
You could probably wear the same flowy dresses for dinner with a cardigan or you could pack different ones if you feel like they will be sweaty

Talk to your family about how dressy they want to be for “formal” nights. The captains dinner night is usually first sea day and is usually the more formal of the two. You’ll see a wide range so you can just decide as a family whether it would be fun to dress up or not. If you have kids that recently went to HoCo or Bat Mitzvahs or a family wedding they may be itching to wear that fancy dress again, so why not?

If you are gojng as a family, bring one set of clothes for nice pictures. There are photographers everywhere and they are pretty good so it’s a nice change to actually get some family photos. I’m not saying you need to be fancy but just have one night where they kids aren’t wearing super clashing clothes or that one t shirt you hate or the crop top that is fine but you don’t really want it hanging on grandmas wall for the next two decades etc. some of my favorite photos of my kids are from cruises.

For my son and husband. I make sure they pack at least a few collared shirts and at least a pair or two of khaki or those dress tech pants for dinners.

Whatever you would normally wear on a nice weather for vacation. Which for me, is sun dresses. I brought some nicer ones for dinner but nothing fancy. I think some cruises have theme nights or fancy dinners, if ours did we didn't partake.
