When our kids lived under our roof we went out of our way for them not to hear us. We thought we did a good job until many years later when one daughter said she was now glad to have heard us going at it in our late 40s as it gave her hope. We still enjoy sex in our 60s but I won’t tell her that unless she asks.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Adults have sex, and you thought they weren't home.
If they were younger, say 10ish, I'd be more concerned. But a teen old enough to leave a sleepover and come home in the middle of the night is old enough to understand adults have sex.
