+1. We have a home scale that’s kept under the space between the bottom of the dresser and the floor. It says out of sight except for the 20 seconds it’s used. Have one kid who was being watched for an ED years ago.

Get a scale for your house and keep it in a closet. Weigh yourself when you need to after the kids are in bed.

Oh wait, me again-if you don’t belong to a gym you can go to one asking to check it out to see if you want to become a member. Ask to use the bathroom—they usually have the scales in the bathroom. Pop off your shoes and jump on quickly

The friends where it would work, I would rather not share the diagnosis yet.

The friends I have shared with either also don’t have scales or live far away.

I don’t have a scale in my house. It works for me, and I think getting one would be a negative for one of my kids who can be very obsessive about health.

But I am about to start a medication that can impact weight, and I would like to know how much I weigh before I start so I can get a sense of any change.

Any suggestions on where I can weigh myself? I thought about going to Petsmart and getting on the dog scale. There must be a less embarrassing solution. Do gyms have them? Could I sign up for a one day trial and try out the facilities and weigh myself?
